When does it end? When have you finally learned enough to stop searching and start doing?

And how would you know if you did?

The Internet is infinite in the worst possible way. No matter what you’ve learned, there’s always more.

Maybe this camera will make me blow up on YouTube. Maybe this guitar pedal will make more people want to listen to my song.

Maybe this book will teach me the secret to success that the authors of those dozens of books I already bought read didn’t know about, or were hiding from me.

Wait, no – THIS is it. Now I’ve got it.

Unless… maybe it’s over there?

Is it time for bed already? Whew, I worked really hard today. Always hustling. Always grinding. So busy I forgot to eat.

STOP.

Did you produce anything worthwhile?

Did you try something and fail?

At least learning from your own failure leads you somewhere specific, not just elsewhere in general.

And perhaps when you’ve done enough, you’ll learn what you actually need to learn.

You’ve read enough.

You’ve watched enough.

You’ve heard enough.

Enough.

Start first, learn later.

It’s time.
