“One-Man Think Tank” with Matt Dillahunty

My esteemed guest today is Matt Dillahunty, who has the rare distinction of being a public intellectual. That’s right – he makes a living producing and debating ideas.

Matt has shared the stage and gone toe-to-toe with many of today’s intellectual heavyweights, including Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Jordan Peterson- the list just goes on.

He is also the co-host The Atheist Experience, a popular Texas-based webcast- but if that’s not your jam, don’t worry. Matt wasn’t here to discuss or defend atheism.

Instead, our conversation centered on truth and skepticism in the Information Age. In particular, under which circumstances should we be convinced that something is true? Plus, Matt gives us practical tips for having healthy debates where everyone walks away friends, a wild chance encounter when he was only 12 years old, and an intimate look at his unlikely path to international thought leader.

So put your thinking cap on and please enjoy this season finale of One New Person with the exceptional Matt Dillahunty.
