“Tiny Levers, Big Impact” with Tim David

Tim David is a leadership and influence expert, and bestselling author of *Magic Words: The Science and Secrets Behind Seven Words That Motivation, Engage, and Influence. *

I discovered Tim when I noticed his book in the business section of Barnes & Noble. It was just a few months after my TEDx talk combining magic and communication started to go viral.

You can imagine my surprise when I realized the author was a former magician turned communication specialist, just like me, and lived only an hour from me in New England!

We connected online and hit it off instantly. I went on to hire Tim as a business coach, which over time morphed into a mutually beneficial personal and professional relationship.

In this episode we discussed techniques to shake people out of their conversational ruts, how to connect with someone you don’t understand, all about Tim’s brand new book FLIP: The Four Levels of Influencing People, luck and its surprising relation to gratitude, and of course Tim shares his story of a chance encounter with lasting impact.
